Gluten-Free Menu at Madfish Grill

Madfish Grill has introduced a new gluten-free menu for those with celiac disease. Diners with gluten-free diets now have a 2-page menu consisting of appetizers, salads, entrees, side dishes and dessert. The management team at the restaurant met with members of the Sarasota Manatee Celiac Support Group to ensure that the menu items would, in fact, be safe for those with celiac disease. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that is caused by a reaction to gluten, a protein found in, but not limited to, wheat, barley and rye. Celiacs must, in effect, live on a gluten-free diet which includes not only eating foods free of gluten, but also foods that have not been cross-contaminated with gluten. Madfish Grill is always happy to accommodate any guests with food allergies.
